Job Title:
Host/Coat check at a Night Bar


Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Escort guests to their designated tables and provide them with menus
• Assist in seating guests according to seating plans and reservations
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
• Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information about the restaurant
• Manage the flow of guests in the dining area to ensure efficient seating
• Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
• Coat check

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle highpressure situations with grace and professionalism
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple phone lines
