• 7 Days On, 7 Days Off
• 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Sign-On Bonus Eligible
• Relocation Assistance
• Benefits on First Day of Employment
• Responsibilities include an average of 2-4 admissions per shift (up to 6), and cross covering inpatient census. No codes or rapid response. Work alongside in-house Nocturnist.

Overview

Job Summary

Utilizes a high degree of knowledge, skill and competence in specialized patient care area. Assesses, diagnose, initiates plan of care and evaluates outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Manages the health care of select patient populations through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation.
• Participates in professional development and lifelong learning.
• Assesses development needs of staff and develops and delivers appropriate educational programs to meet staff needs.
• Coordinates the care of select patient populations to ensure promotion of health and wellness through education of patients and families, coordination of services and placing referrals.
• Develops treatment plans, treats patients with acute problems including illnesses and minor injuries following a predetermined protocol.
• Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree: Master's Degree in Nursing (Accredited NP Program)
• Experience: <2 years
• Supervisor Experience: No Experience
• License & Certification: RN & Nurse Practitioner

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree: Doctorate in Nursing
• Experience: 2-5 years
