POSITION OVERVIEW:


  • The Receptionist will perform a variety of confidential administrative and organizational duties, requiring flexibility with assignments. The Receptionist will have a strong background supporting administrative functions to assist the overall office. This position is based in our Oakville Office. The individual will report to the Office Manager.

DISTRICT OVERVIEW:


  • Eastern Canada District's projects include highways, bridges, mass transit, mine site development & open pit operations, hydroelectric powerhouses, windpower plants, dams & industrial. The serve the construction and mining industries and operates in Eastern Canada.

LOCATION:


  • This position is based in Oakville

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • The Receptionist will support the team in the following areas:
  • Manage main reception desk
  • greeting visitors and directing them as needed
  • Liaise with Property Management
  • Receive and route incoming packages and mail
  • Assist with sending packages and mail
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and efficient office environment, including kitchen and boardroom areas
  • Maintain office supply inventory and unpack supplies
  • Scan, copy and distribute correspondence or other printed materials
  • Process expenses for team members and support the office manager in their role as it relates to expense processing
  • Assist with scheduling conference room bookings
  • Ordering and receiving catering orders for team members' internal and/or external business meetings
  • Work closely with the office personnel and assisting them in various administrative tasks, as may be required
  • Other administrative tasks, as may be required

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Relevant college / postsecondary education
  • Relevant administrative experience
  • Excellent spelling and grammar skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to work well with others in all capacities within the company
  • Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
