Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate is an integral team member who supports Service Warehouse functions to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include shipping & receiving, picking, and ordering parts and ensuring that the warehouse is kept in a clean orderly fashion.

The Warehouse Associate also assists in customer service parts ordering and communicates with suppliers.


Key Accountabilities:


Wearhouse General Labour (70%)

  • Pick orders and coordinate shipping
  • Monitor and purchase onhand items to maintain appropriate stock levels
  • Receive shipments and organize stock and customer orders
  • Review and maintain computerized inventory and ordering systems
  • Order specialized parts from suppliers to meet customer needs
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept in a clean and organized fashion
  • Properly stock the Service Technician's trucks
  • Process returns and R.M.A.s
  • Occasionally deliver and pick up parts locally
  • Assemble basic parts and skids
  • Assist Service Technicians with computerized ordering and warehouse inventory systems as needed

Customer Service (30%)

  • Directly provide customer service via walkins and phone calls
  • Provide customers with all part options for their specific needs
  • Coordinate onsite purchases and ordering

Safety Excellence

  • Follow safety guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Work in a safe manner and strive for zero work related incidents.
  • Understand and follow procedures related to warehouse safety, and using power tools and equipment
  • Only operate equipment that you have been trained on

Education & Experience Required:


  • 1 year of direct experience working in a similar warehouse role preferred.
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.

Technical Skills & Competencies:


  • Strong verbal communication skills needed to effectively communicate with customers and suppliers
  • Excellent attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
  • Effective time management with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple moving parts
  • Team player with the willingness to assist in other areas as needed
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely
  • Demonstrated experience using hand and power tools safely

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:


The position works within the manufacturing and warehouse areas. The environment at times may be noisy and hot during summer months. Physical demands of the position require standing, moving product, and frequent lifting of up to 50lbs unassisted and 150lbs assisted. Concentration is needed in operation of forklift and power tools.
