About the Role:
The position is a junior role and based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Position Description:
As a Junior Commissioning Consultant, you will play an integral role in supporting the commissioning process for engineering projects.
Working closely with senior consultants and project teams, you will assist in ensuring that all systems and components are thoroughly tested, inspected, and verified to meet industry standards and client requirements.
This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commissioning and contribute to the successful delivery of diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Commissioning Support: Assist senior consultants in developing and executing commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures for various projects.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of commissioning activities, including inspection reports, test results, and system performance data.

Site Inspections: Participate in on-site inspections to observe system installations and assess their compliance with design specifications.

Testing Assistance: Support the execution of commissioning tests, working closely with project teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate and comprehensive testing of systems.

Deficiency Identification: Help identify and document deficiencies or issues in systems and collaborate with the team to address them effectively.

Training and Handover: Assist in providing training to clients and end-users on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Data Analysis: Analyze commissioning data to identify trends and patterns, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Compliance and Standards: Familiarize yourself with industry codes, regulations, and best practices to ensure adherence during the commissioning process.

Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors professionally, supporting effective communication and addressing client inquiries.

Team Collaboration: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting senior consultants and learning from experienced professionals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior exposure to commissioning activities through internships, coursework, or relevant projects is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of building systems, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to tackle new challenges.
- Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work onsite and travel to project locations as required.

$50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
