Corrosion Service Company Limited (CSCL) was founded in 1950 by Thomas R.B. Watson as the first Canadian firm to specialize in cathodic protection.

Position:
Project Manager

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Define the scope of project(s) in collaboration with team members and management.
Create a detailed work plan, which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
Collaboratively determine resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project
Liaise with clients and team members to schedule daytoday operation activities
Cost tracking / managing subcontractor costs with internal and external platforms
Help determine the objectives and measures with management upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
Follow change management processes internally and externally to capture changes to design, costs, and schedule
Structure and schedule the Project Team with the supplied staffing personnel to meet project field requirements, performance levels, and budgets

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide a level of leadership to the existing PM team by means of providing PM guidance/mentorship to others where needed.
Monitor the progress of projects and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.
Make Decisions: Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Post-Secondary Education
A minimum of 2 years of industry / commercial Project Management experience
Project management credentials (CAPM / PMP are assets)
Proficient knowledge of PMI standards and practices
Good presentation skills and excellent oral and written skills are also required
