Position Summary:


Cohesive is seeking a talented individual to become a valued member of our successful team as a Senior Consultant responsible for the successful implementation of Bentley's asset lifecycle information management software.

The Senior Consultant will collect, analyze, discuss and agree on requirements, steer the implementation of solutions, including testing, provide documents and training for users, and promote solutions to new users.

This role reports to the Americas Services Manager and can be virtually connected in a home office in Canada.


Key Role Responsibilities:


  • Work with customers to design and implement complex enterprise engineering data management projects.
  • Leading solution design and technical execution of user projects based on requirements and functional design.
  • Draft solution and technical design documents and establish user's consensus.
  • Update and maintain solution and technical design documents throughout the project.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of test plans based on agreed user requirements.
  • Proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal users and stakeholders regarding design and implementation activities and objectives.
  • Assist with identifying and validating business objectives and generating/proposing solutions that align with Bentley's business strategy and standards.
  • Analyze legacy data and define migration strategies.
  • Assess and validate migration scripts for customer data into product platform.
  • Successfully engaging in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ensure product installation and server configuration meet project and customer requirements and document system configurations.
  • Work closely with customers to assist in resolving product and configuration issues.
  • Ensure prompt response to customers and resolution of technical issues.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate status updates and issue resolution to customers.
  • Document product defects and enhancement requests.
  • Provide customer training.

What You Bring to The Team:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information and Configuration Management, IT, or Engineering. Equivalent in work experience will be considered.

Knowledge/Experience

  • Ten years of experience in the areas of technical business analysis, software life cycle development, software development, software implementation.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in software installation, upgrading, integration and client/server operations.
  • Experience with office productivity tools, multiple web browsers, online communication tools.
  • Ability to work under the pressures of deadlines.
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize the time and effort across those projects.
  • Ability to lead / influence design workshops within an existing solution framework.
  • Be able to cope with change due to external events.
  • Proven people skills with an emphasis on teamwork.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work unsupervised under mínimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent action.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and establish the best approach using new tools.
  • Ability to document technical issues and solutions.
  • Ability to quickly learn new products.
  • Technical writing experience (developer and user documentation).
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • Up to 20% travel is required in North America.

Desired, but not Required

  • Experience of asset management, maintenance management and linear referencing.
  • Experience working for Application Service Provider (ASP) or Software as a service (SaaS) company.
  • Knowledge of geographic information systems and spatial data.
  • Experience working with offshore software development teams.
  • Experience with information management in the nuclear, oil & gas, or transportation industries.
  • Knowledge in administration of Windows Server, IIS, and firewalls.
  • Ability to provide guidance on server requirements and specifications.
