Job Description:


The part-time Consort Bar bartender maintains the highest standards possible for guests by ensuring quick, efficient, and professional bar service.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for bar
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
  • Assess customer's needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and drinks
  • Requisition and restock bar with all essential products and equipment
  • Provide an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Keep a clean working environment at all times
  • Monitor the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting sale of alcohol to those who are intoxicated
  • Check identification of guests ensuring alcohol is being served only to those patrons of legal drinking age
  • Observe and adhere to all liquor liability laws
  • Communicate with guests and respond to feedback in a positive manner, resolving any service issues

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must have excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers and wines
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must have valid Smart Serve certification
  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Must be able to speak fluent English
