Key Responsibilities:

  • Special Event Security
  • Provide security service for special events, ensuring the safety of attendees and property.
  • Monitor crowds and respond promptly to any security concerns or incidents.
  • Work collaboratively with event organizers and local authorities to maintain a secure environment.
  • Security House Watch
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspects of residential properties.
  • Monitor surveillance system and respond to alarms or suspicious activities.
  • Interact professionally with homeowners and report any security issues.
  • Suit Security
  • Provide executive protection services for highprofile individuals.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients through proactive security measures.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ontario Security license
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certifications
  • Proven experience in special events security, house watch, or executive protection
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Duties

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or potential security breaches
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of all securityrelated activities, including incident reports and daily activity logs
  • Enforce access control procedures, verifying the identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to resolve security issues or incidents

Skills:


  • Strong surveillance skills, with the ability to effectively monitor CCTV cameras and identify potential security threats
  • Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and practices, including the ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations
  • Familiarity with access control systems and protocols to ensure the safety and security of the premises
  • Experience in loss prevention techniques, such as identifying and deterring theft or unauthorized activities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with individuals at all levels

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour

Security Guard: 1 year (required)
