As a member of the Service Department & Small Contracts team, and as a new Glass Canada family member, you will join a diverse, dynamic group of highly motivated individuals that bring with them a wide array of talents, skills, and backgrounds.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Planning and executing small contract projects from start to finish within budget and timeline constraints
- Coordinate detailed information to develop accurate quotes, working with contractors, architects, engineers, and other partners to ensure project deliverables meet specifications
- Primary responsibilities would include using AutoCAD to create, review, and modify drawings and designs to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
- Continuously monitor project until completion including post project reviews with clients
- Ensure prompt and courteous response to customer needs and inquiries as it pertains to quote requests
- Promoting a team environment between departments to maintain consistent communication and proper resource allocation
- Maintaining site safety and ensuring quality
- Conducting scheduled meetings with site superintendents to ensure project schedule and goals are on track, resolving issues, and providing solutions
- Oversee the purchasing and tracking of necessary products
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Postsecondary education in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in project coordination/management, preferably in construction projects
- Strong skills in AutoCAD and ability to create, review, and modify complex drawings, designs, and models
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication
- Excellent analytical skills with a good problemsolving attitude
- High level attention to detail is required
- Adaptability to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
- Ability to work as a part of a crossfunctional team and independently with excellent personal time management skills
- Ability to manage ordering, billing, and change orders
