    Job Summary:

    We have an opportunity for a Co-op Student - Standards Development, Power Generation (Nuclear) reporting to the Program Manager, Power Generation.

    In this role, you will assist Project Managers and interact with industry experts, academia, researchers, and government officials to support the development of leading-edge standards solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in preparation and maintenance of project documentation.
    • Lead process improvement initiatives to support the program.
    • Assist in scheduling and convening of meetings.
    • Disseminate and maintain committee documentation and correspondence.
    • Follow up with members on action items.

    Education and Experience:

    • Completion of second year or higher in an undergraduate program.
    • Preference for students in a related technical field such as nuclear energy or energy systems.
    • Knowledge of standards, government policy, and nuclear sector landscape would be an asset.

    Skills:

    • Excellent people skills: managing relationships, facilitating and networking with people at all levels.
    • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills.
    • High degree of self-motivation, initiative, resilience, and adaptability.
