    NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Services Ltd. in Acheson has an exciting opportunity for an HS&E Administrator to join our Safety team. This position will be primarily responsible for assisting in the development and administration of the HSMS and provide HSMS support in areas relating to HSE, Transportation Safety Compliance (TSC), Training and Quality. This includes providing statistical and trending dates, managing HSE databases and assisting with department administration. Why Join our Team?

  • Monitor, track, and trend HSE performance, assess ongoing safety performance results to continually identify improvement opportunities and suggest corrective actions as required to achieve HSE goals and objectives.
  • Maintains all databases with respect to HS&E for all NCSG and affiliated companies. (ISN, Can Qual, Browz, etc.)
  • Responsible for the communication to internal stakeholders on trends, statistics, and summaries.
  • Maintains the ongoing development and implementation of a formal HS&E database system.
  • Assists with HS&E orientations as required.
  • Assists with the development, implementation and delivery of HS&E audit process and protocol to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the HSMS.
  • Coordinates, plans, and maintains HS&E Committee meetings for all companies.
  • Responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of the monthly HS&E reports.
  • Responsible for distribution of safety alerts and best practices to all NCSG companies.
  • Prepare misc. presentations, reports and documentation as required.
  • Under direction of the Vice President, coordinates building security and access controls for both buildings in Acheson. Coordinates building alarms and fire systems for both buildings.
  • Works with the business development group on providing relevant HS&E material for RFP, bid, contract and awards.
  • Collaborate with branch administrators to obtain, upload and maintain driver file documents in S2Web.
  • Obtain and risk-rank abstracts from multiple jurisdictions for current employees (yearly and post incident).
  • Add / remove employees from the ELD database as required.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications :
  • Knowledge of OH&S legislation and standards.
  • Experience working with safety data software ISN, Canqual or PICs required.
  • Administration and health and safety related training preferred.
  • HAS designation through ACSA would be an asset.
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Highly organized and able to handle a full workload while having strong attention to detail.
  • Cooperative and professional ability to assist others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of accurate paperwork importance.
  • Computer knowledge, proficient with Microsoft Word/Office and Excel.
