The Role
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the daily accounts payable operations for the finance department.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

Processing employee expenses
Corporate credit card reconciliations
Data entry into the accounting system
Receiving invoices and correspondence from vendors
Vendor set up & maintenance
Process monthly vendor payments via ACH & wire
Intercompany transactions & month end processing
Preparing statement of accounts for management as required
Providing exceptional support and customer information to management
Attend weekly meetings with the Finance Team
Perform various administrative duties and projects as required

Skills & Experience Required

Strong organization and time management skills
Sound analytical and decisionmaking skills
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong positive team player who is open to learning, challenging, and improving
Able to handle sensitive information with a strong sense of ethics and confidentiality
Conflict resolution and diplomacy skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Qualifications include

Postsecondary education in accounting is an asset
Minimum two years experience in a Finance role
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Advanced working knowledge of accounting software with experience in vendor management, payments, and reporting is an asset
An understanding of the Ag industry and experience working with farming operations is an asset
