Production Lead, Recycling:

The Production Lead is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient recycling operations in the warehouse.


Role and Responsibilities:


  • Work along with recycling associates to obtain daily goals.
  • Ensure clean sort of aftermarket commodities.
  • Complete required safety checks for machinery used in recycling department.
  • Follows the Customer Care Cycle (I Care) consistently providing world class customer service to all customers, internal and external, of Goodwill.
  • In conjunction with the team leads, perform daily counts on salvage and aftermarket commodities.
  • Ensure each station is clean and in good repair.
  • Maintain or exceed targets.
  • Work well individually or as part of a team assisting members where needed.
  • Provide a reliable and consistent work effort, with flexibility throughout assigned work hours
  • Assist with building maintenance as required (sweeping, mopping, taking out garbage, clean washrooms and staff areas)
  • Recommend improvements to Management
  • Communicate needs and concerns to Management
  • Assist when necessary with daily/shift reports
  • Follow all safety standards set out in legislation and/or Goodwill policies
  • Be actively involved in the health, wellbeing and safety of themselves and their team
  • Report issues with employees/customers to Team Leads
  • Perform other related activities as necessary or as assigned

  • Basic literacy skills (reading, writing)
