We are currently seeking an Intermediate Project Manager for a full-time permanent position to join our team.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with Engineers, Architects, and other parties included in the construction project
  • Preconstruction planning including develop and maintaining project schedule, budgets, design assistance
  • Involvement in tendering and estimating projects
  • Document control, lead site meetings, and monthly invoicing for construction project
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and subcontracts for the project
  • Work along with superintendent for duration of the project and assisting with initial site set up
  • Oversee the project superintendent and provide them with guidance
  • Evaluate the construction project progress and prepare reports
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
  • Lead the initiation and planning of a project
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Manage relationships with Clients
  • Review all safety documents and address any issues with the site super or safety officer

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of project management experience in a commercial or industrial setting
  • Postsecondary education, CET an asset
  • Experience in various standard construction delivery systems (Lump Sum, Design Build, Construction Management)
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • This role requires excellent communication skills, as you collaborate with various people, such as construction workers, Architects, Engineers and Clientele
  • Excellent leadership ability, communication skills, and enthusiasm
  • Superior organizational and critical thinking skills
  • Professional manner, along with your problemsolving skills and your commitment to the role will ensure your skills in delivering quality workmanship while keeping the team motivated
  • Solid understanding of modern construction practices
  • The ability to read and interpret working drawings and shop drawings
  • A strong attention to detail, proven problem resolution skills and superior interpersonal skills are also required for this position
  • Ability to work efficiently and handle multiple projects at once with a positive attitude, courtesy, tact and diplomacy under stressful situations
  • Ability to use Microsoft office software, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Communication display strong written and oral communication skills in English and employs effective listening skills.
