Harvard is a full-service real estate management company headquartered in Western Canada, recognized for its leadership, flexibility, quality, and performance. The organization manages more than 9 million square feet of office, retail, and industrial properties across Western Canada, with offices in Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, and Regina.

    Position Overview

Key duties include entering payroll and benefit changes, administering disability and leave-of-absence records, preparing Records of Employment, Year‑End statements, and supporting all aspects of full‑cycle payroll and benefit processing.

The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will also assist with disability and absence management administration, including tracking employee leaves, coordinating benefit coverage during absences, supporting return‑to‑work processes, and liaising with internal stakeholders and third‑party providers as required. This position ensures employee needs are met through timely, accurate service delivered with the highest level of confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of payroll accounting, group benefits administration, disability and leave management, group RRSP and pension plans, and other company‑sponsored benefit programs.

    Qualifications

    • A relevant business degree or diploma and a minimum of two years of related human resources or payroll and benefits experience
    • Exposure to disability and absence management, including short‑term disability, long‑term disability, and leave administration (considered an asset)
    • Experience with Dayforce HCM (considered an asset)
    • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a professional team
    • Strong customer service skills delivered in a confidential and sensitive manner
    • Proven attention to detail and accuracy
    • Initiative and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

    What's in it for you?

    • Regular business hours, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for flexible work scheduling
    • Competitive salary, term‑completion bonus, health, dental, and Employee Assistance Program benefits
    • Employee wellness benefit and access to an on‑site fitness facility
    • Comprehensive orientation, training, and ongoing on‑the‑job support
