General Job Description:

Met-Scan Canada Ltd.

(Met-Scan) is looking for a highly experienced Field Service Technician specialized in Access Control and CCTV systems installation, commissioning and maintenance.

Key Accountabilities:

Quality technical implementation as per defined scope

- troubleshooting and repair work, installation, programming, and testing.

Meets delivery timelines of projects and service & maintenance requests.
Provides timely and accurate reporting on work delivered.
Ensures compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Ensures that all assigned work is handled properly in accordance with Met-Scan's policies and procedures and are completed in time.

Qualifications

Softwarehouse (CCure 9000) certificate a bonus
Technical Diploma, Professional Diploma, or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' proven track record of Access Control installation, testing, and repair work.
Understands networking and IP addressing

- minimum two years' experience.

MS Office and good computer literacy
Fluent in written and spoken English

Employment Requirements:

Maintain Health and Safety training requirements.
Is legally able to work in Canada.
Able to work nights and weekends, when required.
Located in Kitchener, Ontario or within 45minutes radius of commuting.
Must have a valid G driver's license with no records.
Must pass background and security checks as required.

Working Conditions:

This job requires regular physical activity including walking, standing, climbing, stopping, lifting objects weighing up to 75 pounds or more, using hands to manipulate, install, or dissemble objects.
