The Opportunity:

Seeking an excited Accounting Student to support Lomi's Finance Team by reviewing the day-to-day transactions and assisting in the preparation of the monthly financial reporting package.

Opportunity for full or part time work hours/per week working May-August. Teamwork and adaptability will be critical to success. Meeting deadlines and understanding the details within the general ledger brings joy to your heart.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as determined by the schedule of tasks
  • Gather details and populate tax working papers for domestic and international tax returns using Avalara Templates
  • Skilled in general ledger account reconciliations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to track and execute on a variety of ongoing reporting and task deadlines
  • Ad hoc GL account investigations as necessary
  • Excel/Google sheets experience required

Qualifications

  • Completed minimum 2 years of Accounting education
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Skilled in working collaboratively, strong written and verbal communication in English
  • Ability to foresee the impact of one's actions across an organization
  • Ability to track and execute a variety of ongoing reporting and task deadlines
  • Accounting education
