Minimum Requirements:

  • Six years of relevant experience in the energy industry with preference for treasury experience
  • A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, or other relevant education
  • A recognized designation (CFA, CPA, CTP) with a solid understanding of financial and treasury principles
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with SAP and Microsoft tools. Experience in the use of treasury systems and market data providers, SAP/S4, Bloomberg and Power Automate
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven success in business partnering outside of finance team
  • Excellent analytical, and problemsolving skills, strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for treasury frontoffice processes such as daily/monthly cash forecasting, liquidity management and reporting
  • Support other treasury analysts on commercial paper, FX and investment transactions
  • Engage with diverse internal stakeholders IT, AP, Tax, controllers to ensure the company can reliably manage liquidity, cash and debt
  • Recommend and implement improvements to current front office forecast excel models and processes
  • Assist in developing treasury policies and operating procedures to ensure proper controls are maintained and carried out to mitigate liquidity and operational risk

Location and other Key Details:

  • This is an officebased role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at th Ave S.W.
  • Hours of work are a regular 40hour work week, Monday to Friday
  • Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
