INSURANCE MARKETING BROKER

You can impact our branches sales results through building relationships with our partner markets.

Reporting to the Manager of Commercial Marketing, the Marketing Broker will be responsible for negotiating terms and coverage placement with insurance market partners.

Here is what a typical day looks like

Gather risk information and assess appropriate market(s) for placement with Commercial Underwriting & Placement team; submitting risk information to identified market(s)
Negotiate coverage terms with domestic markets and MGA's for monoline, package policies and subscription placement ; reviewing, recommending and finalizing terms of coverage
Process Renewals, endorsements and policy changes including reviewing and assessing policy terms and documents to ensure accuracy; signing finalized policies for issuance
Prepare policy premium and rating term reports as required
Foster and maintain business relationships with internal and industry partners
Act as liaison between insurance market partners and account representative to facilitate placement of business

The value you bring

Level 2 license required
2 or more years of insurance industry experience
Commercial insurance experience is required
Hands on experience with reviewing carrier portals
Experience with reporting and tracking tools
