We are looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Team Lead for our office based in Vancouver.
-
Your Role :As Team Lead for the Accounts Receivables team, you will look to mitigate business risks by following through on procedures designed to maximize our growth. You will oversee the activities of the team to ensure that cash flow is maximized and overdue credit balances are minimized.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Credit and Collections Manager on all the daily collections tasks.
  • Identify areas of concern that could impact the performance of the team members and provide support.
  • Collaborate with Branch / Sales /and other departments for proper escalation of credit and collection situations.
  • Partner with the Credit Risk and Credit Control Tower teams for escalation of credit limit situations with external and internal customers.
  • Maintain regular reports for both external and internal customers.
  • Help resolve invoice disputes and reconciling/matching customers' accounts.
  • Assist management with any queries regarding business health and trends.
  • Work with the branch controllers to determine and better understand the "underlying cause" of issues.

Your Skills and Experiences:


  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in Credit and Collections or accounting functions
  • Minimum of 2 years of strong Customer Service experience
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent (Financial preferred)
  • Credit Certification strong asset
