MAINWAY is known for superiority when producing complicated prototype parts for a large variety of industries. All tooling is designed in-house using (3-D) VISI software.We take pride in the fact that all the necessary tooling components including custom die shoes are machined in-house using our state-of-the-art CNC equipment.
MAINWAY designers have experience with machine design, automotive progressive dies, die transfer, and part development/prototypes. MAINWAY is the "go to" organization for quality parts, quick turn around and on-time delivery. We have the ability to produce parts of any quantity while strictly adhering to drawing specifications and tolerances.Known for high quality prototype parts, it is a challenge to decipher if those parts were produced off hard tooling.
MAINWAY provides a full in-house stamping facility. Presses and feed lines range from 40 Ton to 800 Ton.
MAINWAY's in-house stamping department not only provides our customer with quality parts, it also provides added value, with spot welding, surface coatings, a robotic weld cell and a full assembly line.
WORK SHIFT: 4 PM - 2 AM, Monday
- Thursday
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Provide support for the overall responsibility of the day-to-day operation of Press Shop
- Leading / supporting daily huddles with Press Operators as required
- Attending and participating in daily schedule review meeting as required
- Attending APQP meetings and launch meetings as required
- Ensuring proper staging of dies, coils and other resources to maintain production targets
- Ensuring that Internal Work Orders are established to trouble shoot maintenance issues
- Fully understanding die setups, operational flow and production requirements
- Support the assignment of responsibilities and duties to personnel in the Press Shop
- Provide support for training and mentoring new employees for press setup and stamping
Successful Operation of Press Department:
- Responsible for supporting Pre-StartUp Inspection of equipment and machines
- Responsible for coordinating press setup in accordance with company schedule
- Supporting the Monitoring of production activities and the reporting of quality issues or concerns
- Assists in rootcause analysis and corrective actions where appropriate
- Supports the tracking of setup times / run times and investigates opportunities for improvement
- Supports press setup and process improvements in material flow and productivity
- Ensuring that dies and coils are properly stored and maintained after use
- Ensuring that parts are properly identified with tags and quality inspection checks are documented
Press department Maintenance & Quality Inspection:
- Responsible for ensuring equipment and machines are functional and ready to operate
- Responsible for returning tools and equipment to designated storage area
- Adheres to all Health & Safety Rules and Regulations
- Adheres to all Plant Rules and other safe requests from supervisory personnel
- Performing daily Pre-StartUp Inspection on Equipment as required
- Must sanitize own machine and work area
- Own the cleanliness of the work areas
- Accountable for producing quality parts at the documented runrate
- Accountable for keeping the Press Shop work area clean and 5s organized.
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
