Aramark is hiring a full time Tim Hortons' Manager located at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

As the manager you will oversee the day to day operations of one full service Tim Hortons and two coffee and baked goods kiosks located throughout the campus.


The Manger is responsible for building a positive relationship with a team of diverse members to ensure high standards, quality, cleanliness and exceptional service are achieved.

Implementing, maintaining Tim Hortons brand standards as well as Aramark standards of services.

The Manager is involved in planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the operations to ensure team members deliver exceptional service.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead a group of Tim Hortons team members to ensure each location adheres to daily operational needs providing quality, courteous service provided to all customers
  • Implement and lead compliance on all Tim Hortons standards, Aramark standards, legislated standards, health & safety standards and safe food handling
  • Develop operational forecasts each period and analyze variances in sales, costs, and operational activities
  • Responsible for staff recruitment, schedules, staffing labour analysis, training, and Human Resource processes in collaboration with General Manager.
  • Develop, empower and motivate team members to attain proper standards of performance
  • Liaise with the Marketing Manager to launch Marketing Initiatives and Promotions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot equipment for repair and maintenance
  • Collect, record, and deposit all revenues received at the component
  • Maintain compliance of all cash handling and cash auditing procedures, reports any overage/shortages
  • Ensure adherence to Aramark's policies and procedures, Health and Safety Programs

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience working at Tim Horton's is a definite asset
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a fastpaced food service environment.
  • Knowledge of computerized spreadsheets and word processing programs.
  • Selfdirected with strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and genuine customer focus orientation
  • Flexible schedule, evening and weekend shifts when required.
  • Experience in directing the work of others as per job duties and business requirements
  • Ability to act with a 'Customer comes first attitude' to meet and exceed expectations
  • Effective oral communication skills and knowledge of the retail environment
  • Maintain effective working relationships with managers, staff and patrons
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
