Job summary
This role supports the current Director of Health & Wellness while progressively taking on greater leadership responsibilities in Clinical Health & Community Wellness areas.The Director in Training will be mentored in strategic planning operational oversight staff management financial stewardship culturally grounded health & wellness service delivery.
This position is part of Nation's succession planning efforts to strengthen self-determination Indigenous-led health governance.
Qualifications
- A registered Haisla member.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Health or Social Work Indigenous Governance related field working towards one.
- 3–5 years experience relevant roles within Indigenous organizations communities strong interpersonal organizational communication skills willingness learn grow mentorship feedback leadership journey.
