Under the direction of the Principal, the Library Technician:
Operates the school Learning Commons and provides services in an automated/digital environment to meet the needs of staff and students

Promotes authors, books, literacy, technology and holds special events

Performs administrative functions associated with the Learning Commons and/or school

Coordinates volunteers' activities

Performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor


Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Secondary school diploma

2 year Community College diploma (i.e. Library Technician, etc)

2 years of related experience

Expertise with Destiny, computer hardware and software, mobile technology, various AV equipment

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Individuals who possess an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered

The use of a personal vehicle may be required


This is a 0.50 FTE permanent 10 month position with an annual salary range of $42,843 - $46,383 (will be prorated to reflect a 0.5 FTE position).

The anticipated start date is August 28, 2023.
