    The Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Education Department is inviting applications for the following full-time position at Mikisiw Awasis Early Learning Centre in La Ronge, SK:

    Administrative Assistant

    Duties:

  • Record and transcribe minutes for meetings;
  • Organizing and assisting meetings, arranging travel and accommodations;
  • Photocopy/prepare relevant materials and update binders;
  • Answer/redirect all in-coming calls;
  • Update work plan as activities are completed
  • Receive/distribute in-coming/out-going correspondence;
  • Clerical duties including: taking meeting minutes, faxing, filing and office management;
  • Tracking supplies and maintenance of office equipment;

    • Qualifications:

  • Must have Grade 12 diploma;
  • A Certificate in Office Administration;
  • A combination of qualifications and experience may be considered;
  • Proficient computer skills; Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Research and computer skills;
  • Must have a valid driver's license;
  • Must be able to provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract, Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening;
