Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing


As a consultant, you will conduct business process testing and evaluation of Financial Processing, Operational and Regulatory controls for CIBC Infrastructure operations teams.

You will perform internal controls test planning, assessment and compliance testing results reporting for control design and execution effectiveness. You will review processes and test artifacts, identify deficiencies and recommend remedial action plans.

You will have the opportunity to participate in the development and implementation of systems, procedures, controls and processes to maintain and sustain a high level of service while supporting CIBC's risk framework.


At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role you'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.


How You'll Succeed- Control and Process Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance controls by utilizing your knowledge of audit practices and/or risk management (CIBC's Control framework).

Recommend practical and reasonable solutions to mitigate business risks and resolve identified deficiencies.- Critical Analysis - Critically assess control process artifacts provided by various stakeholders and determine where the processes have deviated from the expected risk mitigating activities.
