Our creative teams are currently working on several exciting titles: Gemini is our new project being developed with Square Enix; Bifrost, Victoria and Dagger are projects we're growing in the self-publishing model.
We also have one project in the concept phase - Red; as well as two projects in VR technology - Green Hell VR and Thunder - a new project based on one of the IPs from the Group's portfolio.

Job Description:
People Can Fly is seeking a talented and experienced Technical Lead to join our team of developers working on a AAA Unreal engine VR game.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the overall technical vision and execution for the project
- Define/approve the overall architecture of all relevant game systems
- Plan the preproduction of new project to outline technical challenges and avoid barriers during the production phase
- Be a working lead, especially in the preproduction and prototyping phases
- Establish technical quality level of the product (coding standards, performance and scalability) of features
- Oversee the programming team and help them make the most out of their daytoday work by establishing coding guidelines, best practices, and leading regular code reviews
- Produce and maintain plans for mitigation of technical risks across development teams
- Review Design-Documents for large features or features that change the technical plans for the title
- Create and maintain a longterm technical roadmap for the game
- Ensure the technology roadmap is successfully implemented
- Provide and update highlevel time and resource estimates for all areas of the game to the Executive Producer and help with prioritization
- Ensure the tech vision for the project is aligned with the studio's overall tech vision, by coordinating with the studio's CTO and central technology team
- Coach and mentor engineers and take an active role in hiring new engineers
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional experience in game development
- 3 years in a Lead Engineer capacity
- Worked on at least one AAA title from start to ship as a technical lead
- Worked on at least one UE4 based game in a Senior or Lead Engineer position
- Excellent understanding of C++ in the game development environment
- Experience establishing and maintaining roadmaps and technical plans
- A sound understanding of software development practices
- Experience developing FPS or TPS Action games
- Experience with VR
- Experience with both high end platforms (PC / console) as well as lower end platforms (mobile spec)
- Experience working with Agile and Waterfall Processes
- Excellent English communication and writing skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
