that solve real problems in our food supply?

Carbon Robotics needs Field Service Technician in the Alberta, Canada. You will report to the Regional Lead Technical support.


What you'll do:


  • Respond quickly to customer issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of carbon Robotics equipment
  • Respond to customer concerns and identify the issues, troubleshoot them, and work with Carbon Robotics teams to develop and implement corrective action plans
  • Conduct diagnosis and repair on equipment following safety guidelines
  • Perform operational testing of controls, safeties, shutdown, and place equipment in service
  • Collect data, upload it, and assist with model labeling
  • Demonstrate how to properly operate Carbon Robotics equipment
  • Support demonstration and implementation activities
  • Build strong crossfunctional relationships with customers and teams within Carbon Robotics
  • Working in outdoor environments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting, maintaining, or repairing farm implements
  • Ability to diagnose problems with equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
  • Excellent relationship management, customer service, and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and articulate when dealing with difficult customer situations
  • Desire for solving customer issues and advocating for their success in a fastpaced and unstructured environment
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
  • Trailer towing experience preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • English literacy required
  • Spanish speaking ability preferred but not required

The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, preIPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity paying employees equitably for similar work.

Carbon Robotics' base salary pay range:

  • $83,182—$128,099 USD
