Purpose:


Education:

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other relevant IT related discipline.

Formal education or certification in portfolio or project management is desirable.


Experience:


Skills:


  • Comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of technologies and techniques including: Informatica, OBIEE, Tableau, Power BI, PeopleSoft and Oracle preferred. relational technology platforms, system design methodologies and associated data modelling techniques, SDLC, test plan creation, execution and documentation.
  • Sound knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, ability to develop and carry out new initiatives and regular operations, with a strong customer service ethic, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work within budget.
  • Knowledge and experience with large ERP and/or BI projects, working with various stakeholders across the business areas.
  • Knowledge and experience with standard project methodologies (Agile and traditional), tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop, and monitor a wide variety of projects, juggle multiple, competing responsibilities.
  • Experience in supervising technical and nontechnical staff, and projects including the prioritization and delegation of tasks, ability to motivate and mobilize a team around shared goals.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to work productively in an organized manner both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communications and presentation skills â?? must be able to communicate, present and interact professionally with diverse groups across the organization and externally with vendors and contractors.
  • Solid commitment and ability to build and maintain strong and positive team/client relationships.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problemsolving ability. solid troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including flexibility, discretion, diplomacy, tact, judgment, and integrity.
  • Strong ability, commitment, and initiative to learn and remain current with new and emerging technologies and trends.

Additional Notes:


  • Work is completed generally in a typical office environment including visits to conference/board room settings for presentations and meetings.
  • Significant interaction with stakeholders, team members via meetings, working/testing sessions.
  • Frequent computer usage.

Compensation:


York's CPM Compensation Framework has a salary grid consisting of 6 or 8 steps (depending on job grade) which is reviewed annually with possible adjustments, and a lump sum Performance Based Recognition Award.

Employees will receive the grid adjustment and depending on performance, eligible permanent employees may move to the next step of the grid and may receive a lump sum Performance Based Recognition Award.
