Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of trucks and trailers.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state trucking regulations.
- Monitor driver behavior and adherence to safety protocols.
- Investigate accidents and incidents involving company vehicles.
- Develop and implement driver safety training programs.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, training, and incidents.
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns.
- Stay updated on industry safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in trucking safety preferred.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Salary:
From $16.65 per hour
