We are currently seeking an enthusiastic
Sanitation Worker to join our team

About this opportunity:

The sanitation worker will keep clean and sanitize all areas of business. Collect and dispose garbage and recycled materials and maintain outside perimeter of the building.

Your responsibilities:

Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing according to SOP standards all areas including public washrooms, dining room, kitchen, bakery and employee common areas.
Sweeping and mopping floors using a broom and mop.
Empty, clean, and sanitize waste and recycling bins regularly.
Responsible to remove and disassemble equipment for cleaning and sanitizing in the kitchen and bakery areas.
Use floor machine on daily basis.
Maintain chemical inventory and have a basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
Adhere to the colour code/ 3 sink system.
Works safely and follows legislated and established safe work procedures and practices.
Other duties as assigned in adherence to The Big Apple GMP policies

Your qualifications:

Secondary School Completion or equivalency
Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field
Experience working in a busy and fast paced Retail Environment is a MUST
Ability to Multitask is a necessity
