Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various business partners
• Contribute to development and progression of his team members
• Contribute to the certification of PC1
• Participate in the transition to the new accounting standards IFRS 17
• Contribute in monitoring the actuarial provisions to ensure adequacy
• Ensure that valuation methods and processes are conform to actuarial standards
• Contribute to the production of the actuary's report
• Ensure that the team is compliant with the various processes and policies (EUC, SOX, modeling policy ...)
• Improve valuation methods and processes
• Contribute in establishing the actuarial provisions

Job Requirements:

• Skilled at anticipating the results of an analysis or a report
• Has strong problem-solving skills
• ACAS/FCAS designation or ambition to continue CAS exams
• Minimum 4 years of Property & Casualty actuarial experience
• Stands out for his/her judgment and analytical mind
• Recognized for his/her thoroughness and the quality of his/her work
• Bachelor degree in Actuarial science, or other quantitative area of study
• Ability to make good decisions quickly when required
• Shows initiative, creativity and critical thinking in his/her work
• Has work experience with MS Excel(VBA), programming languages (eg. R/SAS/Python)
