Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is currently seeking a
Business Intern - Supply Chain, working out of the Winnipeg, MB location. These internship is a 4-month opportunity working on day shift.


We are looking for current Supply Chain management or Commerce post-Secondary students who are interested in working side-by-side with experienced Supply Chain professionals.

Our student Interns are given a unique experience as they learn the ropes and attain newfound competencies. Interns are exposed to on-the-job business challenges as they work through tasks in a team setting. They have the opportunity to participate in training and to work on special projects. The Supply Chain Management Intern will report to the
Supply Chain Manager and will be working out of the
Winnipeg, Manitoba branch.

The internship is 4 months in length beginning in May.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Assists in conducting source selections, negotiates and documents purchase contracts and agreements within procurement commitment authority
  • Assists with gathering performance data to monitor supplier capability, capacity and business health. Works with team members to monitor supplier performance to contract and supports supplier performance reviews.
  • Maintains relationships and communications with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
  • Seeks opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities; participates in root cause analysis and development of improvement plans and monitoring progress.
  • Demonstrates an interest in personal learning and development. Seeks feedback from multiple sources about how to improve and develop; modifies behavior based on feedback or selfanalysis of past mistakes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Must be enrolled as a fulltime student with an accredited university or college.
  • Must have advanced ability in the use of Microsoft Office which includes Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • Prefer previous internship experience.
  • Experience or training in the area of Supply Chain Management will be considered an asset.
  • Comfortable presenting in front of an audience
  • Possess the ability to work in a team environment
  • At least two years in a postsecondary program related to this opportunity will be considered an asset.

Education/Experience:


  • Graduates are ineligible unless continuing in post graduate studies.
