Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) is an industry-leading transportation and midstream provider specializing in transportation, storage, processing and marketing solutions for crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs).

PMC also operates strategically-located facilities for crude oil and NGL storage, separates NGL from natural gas and fractionates NGL into pure liquid petroleum gas (LPG) products, including propane and butane.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensuring a professional and courteous approach when dealing with internal and external contacts
  • Answering, screening, and directing incoming calls
  • Managing the distribution, cancellation, and auditing of building security cards
  • Take and process employee photos
  • Placing flower orders for bereavement and congratulatory requests
  • Managing business card orders
  • Primary contact person for office maintenance; and developing corrective actions as needed
  • Use Office Space Software for desk assignments and moves
  • Tracking and arranging ergonomic assessments
  • Working with Communications department to post building related information
  • Assisting with ordering for pickups and deliveries of offsite file storage
  • Assisting with organization of corporate events
  • Monitoring and maintaining supplies for employee lounges and kitchens
  • Mail and courier preparation and distribution
  • Clean and prepare desks for onboarding/offboarding and moves
  • Maintain supplies and cleanliness of meeting rooms and shared spaces
  • Providing administrative support to executive assistants as required
  • Cross training on backend services

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Business Administration program or 3+ years in an office environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong focus on being a team player
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication
  • Satisfactory background clearance (criminal), and reference checks
