At Fresh St.

Market's Meat Department, we provide a broad variety of fresh, high quality products with a strong emphasis on local and specialty items designed to meet and exceed our customer's expectations.

We assist customers with any inquiry, package meat products, replenish display cases and maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.

Reporting to the Meat & Seafood Leader, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

*Job Overview

• Expert of the company vision, mission, and core values
• Bring a positive attitude every day
• Work collaboratively with others within the store to achieve working relationships
• Establishes high standards and takes personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of work
• Creating and maintain a great customer experience for both external and internal
• Ensure food safety and quality control of all products at all times
• Supporting the manager with inventory, waste control/management
• Ensure health and safety standards are executed
• Organizing special promotions, displays and events

*Street Credentials

• Must have valid work authorization in Canada
• Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekend and evenings
• 2+ years of Leadership experience in a Meat/Deli or related field
• Loves working in a clean and well-maintained workplace environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Work well with others in a high-pressure environment
• Physical Requirements are required as a Leader in Fresh St. Market
