We are currently recruiting for a Construction Coordinator
This is a full time and permanent position.


Position Overview


As a construction coordinator you will be responsible for handling and disbursement of various documents required by municipalities and internal departments such as drafting, estimating, and construction.

As the main point of contact for support; you will be responsible for timing, validity, and accuracy of all documents leaving internal operations.


Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supporting the Director of Construction with ongoing paperwork and documentation
  • Completion of construction release packages to trades and site staff including management of all web portal documents
  • Communication and coordination of engineering documents to site staff and municipal authorities
  • Applications for site ID's required for site energy servicing
  • Mitigating issues from energy providers including communication with site staff
  • Completion of weekly production reporting
  • File management including all applicable documents
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A current (within 6 months) Police Clearance Screening is required upon hire
years experience in the construction industry is an asset

  • Experience working in a team work atmosphere
  • Microsoft Office skills are a requirement
  • Experience with BuildPro homebuilder software is an asset
  • Excellent Communication Skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong work ethic self motivated

Required Skills:


  • Manual dexterity required to operate telephone, computer and peripherals.
  • Interacts with employees, management, volunteers and the public at large.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Fastpaced environment
  • Physical ability to safely lift up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to prioritize workload on the fly
