Your Role on our Team:


In this role you will:


  • Assist homeowners in selecting options and finishes from our options program that align with their preferences, budget, and design aesthetic.
  • Maintain accurate records of homeowner selections, submit for final review and approval, and track file through to completion.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by homeowners promptly and professionally, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in managing challenging situations and maintaining a positive and constructive dialogue throughout the process.
  • Review millwork plans, architectural drawings, and other materials to ensure information accurately reflects customer selections.
  • Collaborate with other departments to clarify any questions or concerns raised, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of inquiries.
  • Attend Orientation Sessions held for homeowners to provide guidance and support during the initial stages of the design process.
  • Assist with open browsing hours as needed, ensuring homeowners have access to resources and assistance in exploring options and making informed decisions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product offerings, and design innovations to provide informed guidance and recommendations to homeowners.
  • Assist with the maintenance of marketing materials used during appointments as needed.
  • Provide input into the development of new offerings and samples, contributing to the enhancement of our product selection and design options.
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as required.

We would like you to have:

  • Education in Interior Design or previous experience in a design role.
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of home construction
  • Ability to read architectural plans
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with Newstar, Autodesk and SketchUp an asset
