Your Role on our Team:

In this role you will:

Assist homeowners in selecting options and finishes from our options program that align with their preferences, budget, and design aesthetic.
Maintain accurate records of homeowner selections, submit for final review and approval, and track file through to completion.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by homeowners promptly and professionally, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in managing challenging situations and maintaining a positive and constructive dialogue throughout the process.
Review millwork plans, architectural drawings, and other materials to ensure information accurately reflects customer selections.
Collaborate with other departments to clarify any questions or concerns raised, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of inquiries.
Attend Orientation Sessions held for homeowners to provide guidance and support during the initial stages of the design process.
Assist with open browsing hours as needed, ensuring homeowners have access to resources and assistance in exploring options and making informed decisions.
Stay updated on industry trends, product offerings, and design innovations to provide informed guidance and recommendations to homeowners.
Assist with the maintenance of marketing materials used during appointments as needed.
Provide input into the development of new offerings and samples, contributing to the enhancement of our product selection and design options.
Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as required.

We would like you to have:

Education in Interior Design or previous experience in a design role.
Bilingualism is an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent customer service skills
Knowledge of home construction
Ability to read architectural plans
Experience with MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat
Experience with Newstar, Autodesk and SketchUp an asset
