Summary
Manitoba Harvest has an opportunity for energetic and experienced

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER to join our team. This position can be based out of either our Winnipeg or Ste Agathe locations with periodic travel between locations. This position can be eligible for our Hybrid Remote Work Program.


Scope
The

Supply Chain Manager - responsible for vendor management, procurement, 3PL Warehousing operations, and inventory control throughout the supply chain, managing ERP system data, and overall management of supply chain KPI process.


Responsibilities

  • Leads all supply chain efforts for vendor management, procurement, 3PL warehousing and inventory activities.
  • Sources all new materials used in both internal and external comanufacturing.
  • Manages 3PL warehouse providers along with contract negotiation and annual review.
  • Overseas all inventory management, cycle count processes and physical yearend inventory counts. Identifies discrepancies between inventory records and develops long term corrective actions.
  • Analyze and maintain ERP system data in relation to supply chain functions.
  • Works closely with the Customer Care team, fulfilment reporting, and sales forecasting to ensure supply availability to achieve undisrupted production operations. Ensures the timely movement of materials through the network.
  • Responsible for spend management for all internal items as well as those materials at Comanufactures.
  • Manages supplier base and builds strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
  • Creates and leads the relationship with third party manufacturers.
  • Works with R&D and innovation teams on materials requirements for new product launches
  • Establishes and oversees key performance indicators and metrics for supply chain planning inventory management; enacts changes based on findings.
  • Regularly reports on supply chain performance and seeks and establishes ways to further align supply chain unit with the organization's financial revenue goals.
  • Provide ongoing development, coaching and performance management for all team members including monthly, quarterly annual performance review processes.
  • Other duties as assigned by the organization.

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary Degree/ Diploma with a focus on supply chain management, procurement, inventory control, manufacturing, or materials management is an asset or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of direct work experience in a supply chain management or materials management position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Familiarity with supply chain management (SCM) software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and/or material requirements planning (MRP) software
  • Knowledge of electronic data interchange (EDI) translation and transmission
  • Experience with people management, capability development and change leadership an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead successfully in a complex, fastpaced, changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building and leadership abilities
  • Superior report writing, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
