Job Summary

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, and engineers to translate research ideas into innovative prototypes and algorithms.
Work with engineering, science, and clinical teams to translate research findings into design. Requirements and assist with integration into production software and hardware.
Prepare technical reports, patents, and publications and present results to a range of scientific and business stakeholders.
Stay up to date on developments within relevant fields (i.e. neuroscience, engineering, & data science) through methods such as reading academic journals, ongoing education programs, and attending conferences.
Contribute across the life cycle of research studies and clinical trials, including study design, initiation, data collection, data analysis, patent development, and results dissemination.
Work with business teams to translate technical and scientific concepts into commercial assets such as patents.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Master's degree or higher in neurotechnology, biomedical engineering, neuroscience, or a related field is required while PhD would be preferred.
Experience with electroencephalography, or other biomedical and medical neuroimaging signal modalities is a must.
Demonstrated scientific track record including publications, presentations, and other contributions
Scientific computing in Python (e.g. NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib) and/or R
Advanced statistical, mathematical, and/or machine learning techniques using packages such as scikit learn, stats models, Keras, or PyTorch
