Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, and engineers to translate research ideas into innovative prototypes and algorithms.
  • Work with engineering, science, and clinical teams to translate research findings into design. Requirements and assist with integration into production software and hardware.
  • Prepare technical reports, patents, and publications and present results to a range of scientific and business stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on developments within relevant fields (i.e. neuroscience, engineering, & data science) through methods such as reading academic journals, ongoing education programs, and attending conferences.
  • Contribute across the life cycle of research studies and clinical trials, including study design, initiation, data collection, data analysis, patent development, and results dissemination.
  • Work with business teams to translate technical and scientific concepts into commercial assets such as patents.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master's degree or higher in neurotechnology, biomedical engineering, neuroscience, or a related field is required while PhD would be preferred.
  • Experience with electroencephalography, or other biomedical and medical neuroimaging signal modalities is a must.
  • Demonstrated scientific track record including publications, presentations, and other contributions
  • Scientific computing in Python (e.g. NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib) and/or R
  • Advanced statistical, mathematical, and/or machine learning techniques using packages such as scikit learn, stats models, Keras, or PyTorch
