    EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY- SPEECH LANGUAGE THERAPIST ASSISTANT X2

    ENOCH CREE NATION- KEA

    OPEN COMPETITION

    JOB PURPOSE

    • Assist in the education, development, and training of students
    • Maintain a smooth and efficient school operation
    • Work under the supervision of Speech Language Therapist, teacher, or administrator
    • Support students with special needs
    • Conduct screenings and run therapy activities
    • Keep records of student progress and performance
    • Develop materials and strategies for students
    • Consult with teachers and coordinators regularly
    • Develop trusting relationships with children and involve families in activities
    • Supervise students in various settings
    • Support evaluation and reporting on students' progress

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Speech Language Assistant diploma
    • 1-3 years of pediatric experience
    • Knowledge of assessment and therapy recommendations
    • Non Violent Crisis Intervention Training
    • Police and Vulnerable Sector Check
    • Knowledge of Cree Language an asset
    • Available Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    8-hour shift at Enoch Cree Nation KEA building
