Handyman - Peterborough, Canada - GCBS Group

Description

GCBS Group is a fast expanding building services company who is looking for subcontractor handyman to perform multiple repairs and maintenance tasks throughout Peterborough and surrounding areas.

This position requires the person to work both independently and as a team. Must be resourceful with required materials for job sites and accustomed to reporting electronically and manually. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and environment.
Duties could include:

• General building repairs.
• Painting.
• Drywall Repair.
• VCT tile repairs and replacement.
• Ceramic tile replacement.
• Ceiling tile replacement.
• Plumbing
• Electrical

Own Insurance and WSIB Coverage for all subcontractors is required

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as a general handyman.
• Own your own vehicle
• Own your own tools.
• Working at Heights training is a plus.
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently.

Wage will depend on the work being done, we are looking for hourly rates from subcontractors.
