We have the capacity to formulate and manufacture natural health products directly from raw materials into various types of products.

Our manufacturing service includes capsules, tablets, liquids and powder products, soft gels and granules.

Ingredient Identification and Authentication: Verify the identity and purity of raw plant materials used in natural health products. This involves using analytical techniques to ensure that the correct plant species and parts are used, and that there are no contaminants or adulterants.

Development of Extraction Methods: Design and optimize methods for extracting bioactive compounds from plant materials. This includes selecting appropriate solvents and extraction techniques to maximize yield and purity of the target compounds.

Formulation Assistance: Work with the product development team to create formulations that are both effective and stable. This may involve advising on the selection of phytochemicals based on their therapeutic properties, solubility, and compatibility with other ingredients.

Analytical Method Development and Validation: Develop and validate analytical methods for the quantification of active ingredients and markers in both raw materials and finished products. Techniques commonly used include HPLC.

Quality Control and Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control protocols to ensure that all products meet the required standards for potency, purity, and safety. This includes testing for the presence of heavy metals, pesticides, and microbial contaminants.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products and processes comply with regulations set by relevant health authorities, such as the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in the United States or the EMA (European Medicines Agency) in Europe. This involves preparing documentation for product registrations, safety assessments, and compliance reports.

Stability Testing: Conduct stability testing to determine the shelf life of natural health products, ensuring that they remain effective and safe over time.

Scientific Communication: Communicate findings and technical information to non-scientific staff, management, and regulatory bodies. This may include writing technical reports, creating product specifications, and contributing to regulatory submissions.

Research and Development: Participate in research projects aimed at discovering new natural health products or enhancing the efficacy of existing ones. This includes conducting preclinical studies to investigate the pharmacological activities of plant-derived compounds.


Requirements:


  • Proficiency in handling and operating a variety of analytical and microbiological lab equipment.
  • Prior experience in a GMP setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with microbiological techniques and practices, especially as they relate to natural health products.
  • Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field. A PHD is favored.
  • Detailoriented, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and documentation.
  • Effective problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

$4,000.00-$6,000.00 per month
