WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Fluid Service Technician is responsible for the care and maintenance of our client's industrial fluids including coolants, oils, wash and waste fluids.

This may include sampling, testing, fluid additions, changing, and care of any additional fluid related equipment such as filter systems or waste systems.

Entry Level position with training provided

Scheduled Hours:
Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM, some overtime may be required

Additional responsibilities include:

Collecting samples from each fluid sump for analysis
Conducting laboratory testing per procedures & making corrections based on testing results
Maintaining the proper fluid level on each system at the customer site
Input and communicate data
Draining the fluid sump, remove any sludge/chips contamination, power wash the fluid tank, recharge system with Fresh solution or premixed fluid.
Following procedures and adhere to all customer and safety requirements.
Participating in daily communication meetings with the Supervisor and communicate effectively with the site leader and customer

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting OR production/warehouse/machine shop environment
Stand for majority of a shift for approximately 48 hours and walk several miles daily
Lift a minimum of 50lbs when required
Bend/crouch/stoop and dip on a regular basis in order to obtain samples
Don and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
