John branch has an opportunity for you join the team The Materials Management Technician will join a dedicated team delivering premiere customer service.

This position will carry out a variety of tasks related to all aspects of Warehousing and Inventory Management:

Receive, manage inventory, create material requisitions and request for materials in SAP system.
Maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
Issue materials/goods out.
Goods receipts of material.
Assist with cycle counting of physical inventory.
Will be involved in material identification (assign DNOW SKU's) and system integration support.
Sort and place materials/goods on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
Transport goods to site in pickup truck.
Ensure strong communication within the company.
Maintain general housekeeping of warehouse area.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to operate required equipment (forklift) in a safe and responsible manner.
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure that tasks are completed properly.
Be an effective team player, and able to work independently, along with the willingness to take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment.
This position is overtime eligible; OT may be requested.
This fulltime position is based at our customer work site (three different sites)

What will you bring?

Valid Class 5 Driver's License and acceptable Driver's Abstract.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and multitask.
Previous warehouse and/or inventory management experience.
Previous experience working in SAP system is desirable.
Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to pass preemployment testing (Drug, alcohol, and fitness to work).
Travel: Drive in/out to site, vehicle will be provided.
