Mary Hospital is hiring Resident Care Aides (registered with CACHWR) for our 200 bed "complex care" residential facility in downtown Victoria.

The hospital is a modern building, set in scenic grounds, convenient to various bus routes. Regular Part time evening positions and Casual work available.

$28.74/hour plus 13% in lieu of vacation and statutory holidays for casuals, terms and conditions through membership in HEU under the Health Services and Support Facilities Subsector Collective Agreement. Service is portable from Health Authorities.

The Resident Care Aide adds to the quality of life of people who live at Mount St.

Mary Hospital by assisting residents with their activities of daily living, performing simple nursing procedures, and supporting their emotional, spiritual and social needs.

Maintains an environment of resident-centered care by enabling resident choice, individualized care, and resident/family involvement in care decisions. Works collaboratively with the Resident Care Team and House Team to provide a service that meets Resident Care Standards.

Qualifications include
:
Graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program and registered with CACHWR.
