Electrical Engineer Position at MatrixHR

MatrixHR is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for one of our clients in Kitimat, BC. This position reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and involves a 3-week on, 1-week off rotational shift.

Details:

• Fly-in-fly-out arrangements with accommodations if required
• Camp provided
• Pay Rate: $ $52.50/hour

Job Duties:

1. Review and design operational tasks for job hazard analysis
2. Perform risk assessments and act as a technical resource for safe work procedures
3. Conduct root cause analysis to improve equipment reliability
4. Manage reliability improvement projects onsite
5. Apply asset management best practices and drive improvement initiatives
6. Maintain and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs
7. Provide technical support for equipment troubleshooting
8. Implement PLC hardware upgrades

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance and asset management experience
• Strong safety mindset
• Leadership and good communication skills
