Kingpin Trailers Ltd is a customer focused semi trailer service center.

We specialize in general repairs and maintenance, welding, body work, parts and trailer sales. We are currently seeking a Service Supervisor to become an integral part of our team

General Description

The service supervisor plays a key role in overseeing service operations; guiding and mentoring the technicians to maximize return on investment.

They will be leading the service team while working closely with parts and sales to ensure we provide excellent quality and workmanship.

Main Responsibilities:

Develops, communicates, enforces and monitors effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
Follows annual Service Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization's financial and operational objectives

Excellent customer service skills
Must be able to prioritize demands from outside customers
Have a sense of urgency and respond with solutions without delay no matter the time of day, busyness or scheduling
Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations
Lead by example and can provide us with suggestions for improving the overall operation of the business
Selfmotivated, dedicated and a positive "can do" attitude
Mutual respect, honesty and integrity from our employees while providing our customers with quality workmanship at value pricing
Able to multitask & think in a process driven manner

Daily Duties

Estimate jobs accurately and communicate with customers about changes
Provide backup and support to the Service Writer
Explain and describe work performed to customers disputing invoices
Provide backup to the foreman
Guide, lead and manage technicians to be productive and maintain excellent quality
Establish relationships with customers and recruit business

Experience

3+ years of experience in service/parts department operations (trailer or truck repair)
3+ years of experience in management or supervision
Heavy duty ticket and or CVIP licensed tech
Post secondary education is an asset
Valid driver's license

From $70,000.00 per year
