We are looking for an
accounting payable and receivable clerk with excellent career development opportunity to join our team and grow with us.


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Accounts payable
  • Match receiving paperwork, process invoices and generate weekly payments for key Major Vendor accounts.
  • Maintain and administrate the activity of major vendor accounts ensuring that invoices are processed and paid when due.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies and inquiries between vendor invoices, price lists, and/or the receiving documents.
  • Ensure all open credits are applied before issuing vendor payments.
  • Reconcile assigned vendor accounts on a timely basis.
  • Account receivable
  • Maintain uptodate billing system.
  • Generate and send out invoices.
  • Follow up on, collect and allocate payments.
  • Perform account reconciliations.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries.
  • Process adjustments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a Post Secondary Certificate/Diploma (1 year or more) in Accounting or Business field.
  • 1 years of related working experience, preferred in logistics/transportation /carrier industries
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detail oriented with the strong ability to meet the deadline
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Able to work well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Mandarin speaking is preferred

Job Type:
Full-time

  • 8 hours a day, Monday-Friday

Location:
Mississauga, ON


Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
