    Description
    Are you motivated to work everyday with the goal of helping little minds to develop and enrich their growth? If so, we are looking for you to join our teamYou must be able to reach for excellence, be a compassionate early childhood educator, display empathy, be trustworthy and willing to be empoweredWe currently have over 150 childcares centres across Canada & the USA and are constantly expanding; come and grow within the companyResponsibilities

    • Maintain documentation, reporting and record keeping
    • Implement an Emergent Curriculum
    • Support children's emotional, physical, or behavioural well being; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills
    • Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks
    • Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
    • Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
    • Participate and interact in team meetings and workshopsSpecifications
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents and co-workers.
    • Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations
    • Strong collaborator and team player
    • Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom
    • Strong problem-solving skillsQualifications
    • British Columbia ECE/IT License
    • Criminal Record Check
    • Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR
    • Immunizations up to date
